Glendale Unified Board of Education Trustee Area E

Includes the following GUSD Schools & school communities:

Benjamin Franklin Elementary School
Theodore Roosevelt Middle School

Area E (also known as Trustee Area 5, or TA5) can arguably be classified as the busiest area in Glendale. Home to many grocery stores, bakeries, small businesses and the grand Americana, the everyday bustle is impossible to overlook.

However, when you take a step closer for a more detailed view, you’'ll quickly notice the churches, small parks, residential neighborhoods and schools, and see that Area E has everyday people living their everyday lives. As a resident and a parent in the area, I resonate with the fabric of this community, as it’s also my everyday life.

Amongst the current representation on the school board, there is no voice representing the families of Area E. Majority of the families I’ve held conversations with, continue to feel neglected as their concerns remain unaddressed. This has caused many to begin contemplating whether GUSD is even the right place for their children. I’ve passionately been encouraging families to STAY, get INVOLVED with our schools, and VOTE!
